Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2025

1) Who we are

The Launch Pad LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2) What we collect

We collect only what’s needed to run this page, deliver the resources you request, and communicate with you.

3) How we use your information

Legal bases under GDPR (if you are in the EEA/UK): consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (site security and basic operations), and contract (if you purchase something in the future).

4) When we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate this site and deliver emails.

Service providers are allowed to process personal data only to provide their services to us and are bound by appropriate terms.

5) Cookies & similar technologies

This site uses essential cookies (and similar technologies) required to operate. If you play the embedded YouTube video, YouTube may set cookies on your device.

How to control cookies: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time (see below).

6) Your choices & rights

Email preferences

We use single opt-in for our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in our emails or by writing us at hello@thelaunchpadincubator.com. We’ll process your request promptly.

EEA/UK (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; to object to processing; and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to request: (a) access to personal information we collect; (b) deletion of personal information; and (c) correction of inaccurate personal information. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by the CPRA, nor do we “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. You won’t be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

How to exercise your rights: Email us at hello@thelaunchpadincubator.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent if they provide proof of authorization and we can verify your identity.

7) Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Data retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above—for example, while you remain subscribed to our newsletter or as needed for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. If you unsubscribe, we may keep minimal information to honor your request not to be contacted.

9) Children’s privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10) International transfers

We are based in the United States and may process your information in the U.S. and other countries. Those locations may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
